Dr. Claudia Steinke is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Dhillon School of Business at the University of Lethbridge and a practicing rural emergency nurse. Drawing on expertise in nursing, management, and service design, her scholarship explores how health-care services are experienced by patients, families, and providers. Her work focuses on the design and assessment of health-care services, service encounters and interactions, workforce well-being, and the role of human presence and connection in shaping meaningful care experiences. Through research, teaching, and clinical practice, she seeks to advance more effective, human-centred, and compassionate health-care systems.
