Dr. Michael Mahon officially took over the reins as President and Vice-Chancellor at the University of Lethbridge on July 1, 2010. He had spent 10 years as Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Alberta before coming to Lethbridge. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Mike holds a PhD in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Science in Physical Education from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Manitoba
