About

Madeline Kearns is an Instructor with the NESA program, where she teaches as part of the mental health nursing team. She is a University of Lethbridge alumni and holds both a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Nursing from the University of Lethbridge. A Registered Nurse since 2013, she brings over a decade of clinical experience to her teaching, with a strong focus on mental health nursing.

In her current role, she teaches clinical praxis in mental health, as well as lab and theory-based courses, supporting students in developing clinical competence, critical thinking, and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Madeline is very passionate about mental health nursing education and preparing students for practice in complex and evolving healthcare environments. She is particularly passionate about bridging theory and practice through experiential learning and fostering student confidence in clinical settings.
