Building Maintenance Operation

Primary Responsibilities

Building Maintenance Operators are responsible for ensuring that University standards are maintained within all campus buildings. Each operator has been assigned specific buildings.

In addition to attending to assigned work orders, Building Maintenance Operators are responsible for correcting deficient items identified during routine building inspections. Tasks may include baseboard, ceiling and floor tile repairs or replacement and minor drywall repairs.

Additional Duties

  • Repairing campus furnishings
  • Relocating campus furnishings for office moves
  • Distribution of goods at times of need
  • Assisting with major special Event Set-ups
