Applying to Undergraduate Programs at the University of Lethbridge Calgary Campus

In an effort to make the application process as simple as possible, we have included a list of questions our applicants commonly ask. Admission information for graduate programs is available from the School of Graduate Studies.


Applications can be submitted online or by mail. This simple guide will help you through this process.

Until August 31, 2016, the application fee is $100

Effective September 1, 2016, the application fees are:

  • Domestic (all transcripts from Canadian institutions): $100
  • International (any transcript(s) from non-Canadian institutions): $140

A student can begin a program in the fall semester (commencing in September) or the spring semester (commencing in January).

For the Fall term, the application deadline is August 1 for undergraduate programs at the Calgary Campus.

For the Spring term, the application deadline is December 1 for undergraduate programs at the Calgary Campus.

You will be required to fill out your personal information and provide complete details about your academic history. If you are applying online, you will require a valid credit card number to pay the application fee.

You will be required to supply several other items when applying to the University of Lethbridge. Some of these things include, but are not limited to:

  • Official high school transcripts
  • Official post-secondary transcripts
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Citizenship documentation

You will receive more information about what documentation we need shortly after submitting your application.

To be considered official, your transcript must be sent directly from the issuing institution to the University of Lethbridge’s Registrar’s Office.

To ensure success in academic study, all applicants, regardless of citizenship or country of origin, must meet the English Language Proficiency requirement through recognized study or a valid standardized test score.

After an application is made and all of your supporting documentation has been received by the University of Lethbridge, it can take up to 6-8 business weeks before a decision is made on your application.
