What is the Indigenous Student Success Cohort?

The Indigenous Student Success Cohort (ISSC) assists incoming students, or students returning to university education after an absence, in making a smooth transition into life at the University of Lethbridge. By connecting Aboriginal and university cultures, this program aims to increase access to post-secondary education and completion rates for First Nations' students.

How long is the program?

This is a two-semester (eight months) program. Successful completion of the program will help to transition you into most programs at the University of Lethbridge.

What do I need to apply?

Admission is on a case-by-case basis and all FNMI students are encouraged to apply. Grade 11-level English and Math are required. There is no application fee.
