Trailblazing
An early-stage entrepreneurship course that helps aspiring entrepreneurs develop the foundation of a business idea through guided learning, support, and community.
Lab2Market
Provides graduate students with funding, mentorship, and specialized entrepreneurial programming to support research commercialization from early exploration through venture development.
Innovation Catalyst Grant
An entrepreneurial fellowship that provides recent STEM Master's and PhD graduates with a runway to develop and commercialize innovative, science-based products and services.
Launch Point Pitch Competition
An annual pitch competition that awards cash prizes to students and community members for presenting innovative business ideas. No existing business required!
InnoFusion
An annual conference that brings together Southern Alberta's innovation ecosystem for networking, collaboration, and presentations focused on startup entrepreneurship.
Labs4
A suite of programs that helps researcher-entrepreneurs advance innovations through applied research, market validation, and entrepreneurship training.
Consultations
One-on-one support for student entrepreneurs at any stage of their journey, providing guidance, resources, and feedback to help move ideas forward.

RINSA
The Regional Innovation Network of Southern Alberta (RINSA) is here to help businesses bring new products or processes to market. RINSA also networks with other innovation systems in Alberta to maximize efficiency and province-wide collaboration.
The purpose of RINSA is to offer entrepreneurs, and small and medium-sized businesses access to:
- Innovation support, technology transfer, and commercialization programs
- Marketing, business development, training and export development services
- Networking, match-making and business incubation opportunities
- Funding at various stages (vouchers, angel investment, venture capital)
- Funding through Community Futures’ lending services for start-up and/or expansion
RINSA is a collaborative partnership of Lethbridge Polytechnic, Blood Tribe Economic Development and the University of Lethbridge, with support from Community Futures Lethbridge Region, SouthGrow Regional Initiative, Alberta Southwest Regional Alliance and NRC-IRAP.
