Trainee Opportunities

ARRTI will provide you with the opportunity for collaborative opportunities in RNA research within the university and the surrounding government research facilities and access to our state-of-the-art facilities. The Alberta RNA Research and Training Institute (ARRTI) are always looking to fill positions in different laboratories, with some projects of current interest being:

Dr. Trushar Patel (research interests)
  • Host protein - viral RNA interaction (MSc/PhD)
  • Role of focal adhesion (FA) proteins in diseases (MSc/PhD)

Dr. Marc Roussel (research interests)
  • Mathematical modeling of gene networks (M.Sc., Ph.D.)
Dr. Stacey Wetmore (research interests)
  • Multiscale modeling of enzymes that process RNA (MSc/PhD)
  • Computational investigations of the role of RNA modifications in translation (MSc/PhD)
  • Molecular modeling of RNA modifications for use as therapeutics (MSc/PhD

Applicants should clearly specify the project/position to which they are applying and submit a curriculum vitae, a letter of application outlining research experiences and aspirations, and the names and contact information for at least three referees to RNA@uleth.ca.
