The last annual InnoFusion conference, co‑hosted by the University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge Polytechnic, brought together students, academics, and industry to explore innovation, commercialization, and entrepreneurship on Thursday, September 25th, 2025.
Last year, over 90 attendees (including students, educators, and industry) enjoyed a full schedule of networking, inspiration, and discovery. They learned from keynote speaker Jared Garrick from ROVŰ, and had opportunities to connect with those building new technologies & startups, followed by a panel on local innovation in southern Alberta:
- Dr. Muhammad A. Khan - CEO, SuperQ Quantum
- Dr. Jessica Willi - Assistant Professor, Chemistry and Biochemistry, University of Lethbridge
- Tyler Heaton - Research Chair and Industry Liaison, Spatial Technologies Applied Research and Training Centre, Lethbridge Polytechnic
- Nick Schimpf - Graduate Student, Biology, University of Lethbridge
