Scholarships

Arts and Science Award of Excellent
Value: $500
Eligibility: Continuing students in the Faculty of Arts and Science
Criteria: Academic achivement.
Dayna B. Daniels Scholarship in Women and Gender Studies
Value: $500
Eligibility: Full or part-time students continuing in any University of Lethbridge undergraduate degree program. Successful completion of a minimum of three Women and Gender Studies numbered courses, (Women Studies prior to 2012). GPA 3.5 or higher. Applied and Independent Studies will not be considered.
Criteria: Academic achievement.

Canadian Federation of University Women (Lethbridge) Award
Value: $800
Eligibility: Students who have returned to university after an absence of three years or more or single parents enrolled in any degree program.
Criteria: Academic achievement (minimum GPA of 3.00) and financial need.
Application Deadline: May 1
Cardtronics Canada Bursary
Value: $500
Eligibility: Continuing undergraduate students. Single parents.
Criteria: Financial need and minimum 60 percent course load
Deadline: May 1
Faculty of Arts and Science Gold Medal
Eligibility: Must have completed the degree requirements in the Faculty of Arts and Science during the current academic year.
Criteria: Awarded to the most distinguished student graduating from the Faculty of Arts and Science.
Islay Arnold Memorial Award
Value: $500
Eligibility: Continuing undergraduate students in the Faculty of Arts and Science pursuing a General Major in the Humanities.
Criteria: Academic achievement (minimum GPA of 3.00) and financial need.
Deadline: May 1
Meliorist Bursary for Single Parents
Value: $150
Eligibility: Single parent.
Criteria: Academic achievement and financial need.
Deadline: March 15 (high school applicants), May 1 (continuing students), July 15 (transfer students)
School of Graduate Studies Medals of Merit
Eligibility: Must have completed requirements during the current academic year.
Criteria: Awarded to the most distinguished students graduating with a master's or Ph.D. degree.
The Gold Medal of the Governor General of Canada
Eligibility: Must have completed degree requirements in the current academic year.
Criteria: Awarded to the graduating student with the highest academic standing in a graduate-level program.
