Emerging Technologies

Purpose

Agility recognizes that as new technologies emerge, there is a need to provide the U of L community with opportunities to explore and discover the potential of new technological tools for research, teaching, and entrepreneurial endeavours.

3D Printing

is another area of interest to Agility. The program currently houses multiple 3D printers that are available for student and faculty use after completing safety training. Agility is currently seeking students to further develop workshops and guides for 3D modeling and best practices.

Virtual & Mixed Reality

Agility has mixed reality equipment available for students and faculty to access and with which to experiment. Agility is currently seeking students interested in VR development to assist with projects and create workshops and training modules.

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
