Academic Advising:

Academic Advisors in each Faculty/School are available to assist students with program planning. Advisors are available at workshops, and for walk-in and scheduled appointments. Students can ask an Advisor about academic regulations, course selection and program planning. Students must consult with an Advisor to register in courses excluded from web registration or to change their program of study or their Calendar year. Located in downtown Calgary, the University of Lethbridge Calgary Campus is located just steps away from the City Hall C-Train station.  The Calgary campus offers evening and weekend classes in several programs for students needing flexibility to pursue their studies while working full time.

The Applied Studies program allows students to earn course credit for learning gained through paid or volunteer employment related to their field of study.  Co-operative Education combines real-world work experience with academic studies.  The program works to create a partnership between students, the University, and the employer, and to offer students an extended learning environment, and the ability to network with employers.

University of Lethbridge Counselling Services offers free counselling to current students in the areas of personal growth and career development.  Counselling can be delivered through individual sessions as well as Student Wellness Groups, please contact Counselling for current session offerings.

The University Health Centre provides medical clinic services with on campus Physicians to help with any health concerns.  Mental Health assistance is also available at the Health Centre with a team that includes a nurse, dietitian, behaviourist, physician, and Psychiatrist.

This is a free confidential service for those students who self-identify as First Nations, Métis, or Inuit. The primary role of the advising office is to guide, encourage and empower students in the university environment. The advisor can help you make the transition to the University of Lethbridge by helping you access services.

The Scholarships and Student Finance office offers a variety of services including advice and information regarding applying for student loans, awards, and scholarships.  Students can receive assistance with student loan applications, advocacy for difficult loan issues, and money management advice.

Sexual Violence Support and Education:

The University of Lethbridge has support resources in place to help students who have experienced a recent sexual assault or sexual violence.

University of Lethbridge Sport and Recreational services is committed to promoting health and wellness as a lifestyle choice for all members of our community.  Facilities include 1st Choice Savings Centre for Sport & Wellness, Fitness Centre, Ascent Climbing Centre, Max Bell Regional Aquatic Centre, Community Sports Stadium, and Northside Recreation Facility.  A variety of programs and intramurals are offered through Sport and Recreation.
