Weaver, Harold (Hal)

Hal Weaver was born in San Diego. He obtained his BA from the University of Hawaii and received MA and PhD degrees in Sociology from the University of Oregon. He came to the University of Lethbridge in the fall of 1969 and was a member of the Sociology Department through his retirement at the end of 1985.  Hal and his wife Barbara moved to Vancouver Island in 1986 where they have lived for thirty-five years. Hal died November 7th at the age of 92.
