The University of Lethbridge is searching for an alumni representative to ensure the alumni voice is heard on the University of Lethbridge Senate AND the University of Lethbridge Board of Governors! (1 vacancy each)
One of these positions could be yours!
All applications must include a current CV (curriculum vitae) and a personal letter stating your experience and suitability.
It is the duty of the Senate to inquire into any matter that might benefit the University and enhance its position in the community. Senate members are often one of our biggest community advocates and volunteers at events. This group is made up of nearly 70 people who range from students, faculty, staff, senior admin, government appointed members, and community members from all over Alberta.
The University of Lethbridge Alumni Association has four (4) seats on the Senate, two (2) Ex-officio members, and two (2) appointed members (Alumni-at-large).

The Board of Governors (Board) of the University of Lethbridge is a body established by the Post-secondary Learning Act (Act) of Alberta. The Board shares governance responsibilities with General Faculties Council, the senior academic governing body. The Board decides any question that arises regarding the powers and duties of any officer, employee or body of the University, where not specifically identified in the Act. The final decision on the question rests with the Board.
The University of Lethbridge Alumni Association has two (2) seats on the Board, one (1) Ex-officio member, and one (1) appointed member (Alumni-at-large).
