Student, Faculty & Staff Parking

2023 Fall Permit Lottery

For the upcoming academic year September 2023 –August 2024, student parking permits will
be drawn through a lottery system, as was the process in previous years.

Students living in residence will apply for a parking permit during their Check-in through
Housing Services, not through the parking lottery.

To be eligible for the permit sale you need to be an admitted student at the University of
Lethbridge by July 13, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.

Your offer of admission must be accepted and, for newly admitted students, your tuition
deposit must also be received by July 13, 2023 at 4 p.m. to be included in the lottery.
Please take into consideration the expected delivery date of your tuition deposit, including the
length of time for Canada Post mail delivery and online banking processing times.

All correspondence about the permit lottery will be sent to your student “” email
accounts. If you have not set up your uLethbridge account login and password, please do so
now by visiting

Eligible continuing and newly admitted students will enter the lottery through a customized
email link from Campus Mobility Services (, which will be sent on Monday,
July 17, 2023.

You will have until Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. to complete the lottery form, including
your preferred parking lots ranked in order of preference. There is no advantage to
submitting your request earlier or later during the above period — every request submitted
has an equal chance of being granted a permit. The permit request form can only be
submitted once.

If you do not receive an email with a link on July 17, first check your Spam folder. If it isn’t
there, contact for assistance.
