2022 Fall Permit Lottery

For the upcoming academic year September 2022 –August 2023, student parking permits will
be drawn through a lottery system, as was the process in previous years.

Students living in residence will apply for a parking permit during their Check-in through
Housing Services, not through the parking lottery.

To be eligible for the permit sale you need to be an admitted student at the University of
Lethbridge by July 14, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.

Your offer of admission must be accepted and, for newly admitted students, your tuition
deposit must also be received by July 14, 2022 at 4 p.m. to be included in the lottery.
Please take into consideration the expected delivery date of your tuition deposit, including the
length of time for Canada Post mail delivery and online banking processing times.

All correspondence about the permit lottery will be sent to your student “@uleth.ca” email
accounts. If you have not set up your uLethbridge account login and password, please do so
now by visiting ulethbridge.ca/loginsetup

Eligible continuing and newly admitted students will enter the lottery through a customized
email link from Campus Mobility Services (parking@uleth.ca), which will be sent on Monday,
July 18, 2022.

You will have until Thursday, July 21,2022 at 12:00 p.m. to complete the lottery form, including
your preferred parking lots ranked in order of preference. There is no advantage to
submitting your request earlier or later during the above period — every request submitted
has an equal chance of being granted a permit. The permit request form can only be
submitted once.

If you do not receive an email with a link on July 18, first check your Spam folder. If it isn’t
there, contact parking@uleth.ca for assistance.
For information on prices, lot assignment, accessibility passes, payment, FAQ’s on the lottery
etc. visit the Mobility Services website: ulethbridge.ca/facilities/parking

Your license plate will now be your permits, no physical permit is required to be picked up.

Permit Facts:

·         You can share a single parking pass with one friend; however, only one student can be registered to the pass. Any parking tickets, lost pass etc. will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

***If you wish to share a pass, stop by the Campus Mobility office at TH101 with your student ID, license plate number, as well as the make and model of your car and your friends. You will need to state in your email, and sign a document indicating that you take responsibility for your friend when using the pass, which will then be registered in our system.***

·         Priority on the waitlist will be given to students outside of Lethbridge and bus zones. The address listed on your student record will be used to determine residence.
