Interfaith Fund

The Interfaith Fund was established through a combination of gifts made possible by Southern Alberta congregations and a matching grant from the Province of Alberta. This fund provides the opportunity to engage both the public and university communities' awareness of the study of religion as an academic discipline by bringing in top experts in the field of Religious Studies.

Past speakers include:

Dr. Ian Whicher (University of Cambridge)
Dr. Ira Robinson (Concordia University)
Dr. Oludamini Ogunnaike (College of William and Mary)
Dr. Jessica Main (University of British Columbia)
Dr. Erin Runions (Pomona College, California)

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
