Ryan Johnson (BSc '98, MSc '00)
Ryan Johnson is the president and co-founder of Iunctus Geomatics Corporation. This leading-edge firm provides optical satellite imagery and associated services to clients in Canada and worldwide. Among many strategic partnerships, Johnson's company has recently aligned with the University of Lethbridge to establish the Alberta Imaging Centre as a research centre of excellence. Johnson's master's thesis was recognized by the Canadian Aeronautic and Space Institute with the National Best Thesis Award. He was the founding president of the U of L Graduate Students' Association. In April 2005, he was recognized by Alberta Venture Magazine as one of 13 Leaders of the Next Generation.
