Attendance Policy
To ensure timely access to care for all students, the University of Lethbridge Health Centre has a policy regarding late arrivals, cancellations, and missed appointments.
Appointments are in high demand, and missed appointments prevent other students from accessing care.
Key Points:
- Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
- Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a $40 fee.
- Please contact the Health Centre if you are running late.
Arriving Late
If you are running late for your appointment, please contact the Health Centre as soon as possible.

If you arrive late, clinic staff will determine whether there is enough time remaining to complete your visit or if your appointment needs to be rescheduled.
Patients who arrive late without notifying the clinic may be required to rebook their appointment and may be charged a missed appointment fee.
Cancellations
Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a $40 cancellation fee charged to your UofL student account.
Students may cancel appointments using the cancellation link provided in their appointment reminder email, or by contacting the Health Centre.
Missed Appointments
Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice will result in a $40 missed appointment fee charged to your UofL student account.
Repeated missed appointments may affect a student’s ability to book future appointments online.
