who we are

At the University of Lethbridge Bookstore, we’re more than just a place to buy books and supplies—we’re a part of the campus community. We’re here to support students, staff, faculty, and alumni with services that reflect the values of our university: curiosity, connection, and community spirit. We respectfully acknowledge that the University of Lethbridge is located on the traditional lands of the Blackfoot people, and we recognize the contributions of all Indigenous peoples to our shared community.

campus life & school spirit

From U of L hoodies to Horns gear, we’ve got everything you need to show your school pride. We support campus events with pop-up shops, giveaways, and author signings—and we love being part of the big moments in your university journey.

community connections

We’re proud to be involved in local events like The Word on the Street and the South Western Alberta Teacher's Convention Association (SWATCA). Whether we’re supporting local authors, sharing great books, or lending a hand at community events, we believe in showing up and giving back to the community that surrounds our campus.

ethical & sustainable choices

We’re intentional about the products we bring in—choosing local and Canadian-made whenever possible, and working with vendors who care about ethical and sustainable practices. We know small choices can make a difference, and we try to make the ones that count.

books for everybody

We put a lot of care into the books we carry. Whether you’re after a good story, a thought-provoking read, or something for a younger reader in your life, we’ve got a little something for everyone. Our shelves reflect a wide range of voices and experiences, and we’re always happy to help you find just the right book.

a welcoming place for everyone

We want the Bookstore to feel comfortable, inclusive, and open to all. Whether you're browsing, picking up supplies, or just stopping in between classes, we hope you feel at ease here. It matters to us that everyone who walks through our doors feels seen and welcome.

giving back

When you shop with us, you’re also supporting students and programs across campus. Our profits go right back into the university, so every purchase helps strengthen the U of L community just a little bit more.

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
