Calgary Support Resources

Free to Calgarian adults, families, or youth. You don't need to be (or become) a client or participant of a specific program or service.

This program is free to Calgarian adults, families, or youth. You can find more informaton here.

You can recieve food hampers up to six times a year. Hampers can be picked up from one of the six depots around Calgary and the main warehouse. To learn more you can call 4032532055 or go here.

The Good Food Box program provides fresh fruits and vegetables at lower cost:

  • Large box (40-45 pounds of produce): $20
  • Family box (30-35 pounds of produce): $15
  • Senior/single box (20-25 pounds of produce): $10

The Alex Community brings people together to grow, cook, share, and promote good food for all. Register for a cooking class or drop in for a community meal. You can also visit the affordable produce market. To learn more go here.

CUPS provides sandwiches and coffee during the week after 11:00 a.m. Their Family Resource Centre offers meals to families (every day except Saturday). To learn more call 4032218780 or go here.
