The University of Lethbridge is one of Canada's leading universities and research institutions. Our main campus in Lethbridge, Alberta, is located where the Rocky Mountains meet the Alberta Prairies, amid a living, learning laboratory.

Regardless of your program, our world-class facilities will inspire you.

Our Lethbridge campus is now home to Science Commons, a place for community engagement and outreach with innovation laboratories where research opportunities develop, and knowledge moves from lab to industry. The new state-of-the-art research facility fosters the next generation of researchers, entrepreneurs and leaders.

The Alberta Water and Environmental Science Building (AWESB) on our Lethbridge campus puts researchers and their students study critical water and environmental issues.

The Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience (CCBN), the only research facility of its kind in Canada, is home to some of the world's leading neuroscientists, as well as the U3T MRI Centre, a cutting-edge research and diagnostic imaging facility, providing southern Alberta with the most powerful magnetic resonance imaging in the region.

The Centre for Financial Market Research and Teaching in Markin Hall simulates financial markets with live data feeds, market information and continuous financial news, providing you the same tool, techniques and data sets you'll encounter in your career in the financial sector.

Studio One, (a leading-edge recording studio); our Digital Cinema Suites, (professional editing and finishing rooms); individual studios for art students; our newly renovated Recital Hall; the the University Art Gallery, which holds one of the most significant collections in Canada, make our Centre for the Arts an extraordinary fine arts learning and research space.

The University Library houses approximately one million holdings. In addition to providing you the resources to help you with your projects and research, the library boasts some of the best study spaces on campus, a coffee-shop and spectacular views!

With a climbing wall, fitness centre, triple gymnasium and an indoor 200-metre track, as well as the Max Bell Regional Aquatic Centre's Olympic sized pool, the 1st Choice Savings Centre for Sport and Wellness is you place to stay fit, have fun and cheer on our Pronghorns varsity teams throughout the season.

The 1st Choice Savings Centre for Sport and Wellness, AWESB and Markin Hall have all earned LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver status. LEED uses 70 criteria to gauge the ability of a project to meet rigorous environmental standards.

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
