English Language Proficiency (ELP)

All applicants, regardless of citizenship or country of origin, must demonstrate English language proficiency sufficient to meet the demands of classroom instruction, written assignments, research, and participation in tutorials and discussions. Please see the English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements for graduate students for information on meeting this requirement.

In some cases, the University may extend a conditional offer of admission to highly-qualified graduate applicants who do not meet the minimum English language proficiency (ELP) requirements for admission to graduate programs.
