Safe Work Procedure |
- Visually inspect area for possible hazards
- The operation of the Airless Sprayer requires two people
- Refer to Safe Work Practices on “Proper Lifting Techniques” as found in Appendix ‘A’
- Switch off duties between workers at appropriate intervals in order to avoid personal injuries due to repetitive strain / motion
- Refer to MSDS and WHMIS labels for any necessary precautions to take and specific PPE needed
- Refer to Safe Work Practice for “Cleaning Solvents and Flammables” as found in Appendix ‘A’
- Refer to Safe Work Practice for “Flammable and Toxic Materials” as found in Appendix ‘A’
- Ensure surface is cleaned and sanded prior to painting. Refer to Safe Work Practices for “Use of Electrical Extension Cords” as found in Appendix ‘A’
- Refer to Safe Work Practices for “Electrical Safety” as found in Appendix ‘A’
- Refer to and follow Operator’s Manual for the Airless Sprayer
