Connect with Graduate Supervisors Across Canada
Graduate supervisors at the University of Lethbridge are encouraged to participate in the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies (CAGS) National Community of Practice on Graduate Supervision. This national initiative brings together graduate supervisors from across Canada who share a commitment to advancing supervision practices, student success, and supervisor well-being through collaborative learning and the exchange of effective practices.
Participation provides access to:
National conversations on effective graduate supervision practices.
Professional development opportunities focused on topics such as graduate student well-being, mentorship, feedback, conflict management, neurodiversity, and career preparation.
Open-access supervision resources, tools, and emerging practices.
Opportunities to connect and collaborate with colleagues from institutions across Canada.
Discussions that support both graduate student success and supervisor wellness.
Engaging with the CAGS community can help supervisors strengthen their capacity to support students across all dimensions of the Graduate Student Medicine Wheel, contributing to a richer and more holistic graduate student experience.
