Our Space Management & Allocation policy uses the Council of Ontario's Universities (COU) Inventory of Physical Facilities to provide systematic, analytical, and data-based metrics to evaluate spatial allocations for:
- Classroom Facilities
- Class Laboratories
- Research Laboratories
- Academic Office & Related
- Library Study Space & Library Facilities
- Administrative Office & Related
- Non-Library Study Space
- Recreation/Athletic Space
- Plant Maintenance
- Student and Central Services

The University of Lethbridge Office space standards below outline work areas of single or multiple occupancies scaled to the quantity of space required to perform one's office-related duties in ranked positions.
