Funding

uLethbridge awards more than $4.1 million in funding to graduate students through internal and external scholarships, awards and bursaries and $1.5 million in various Graduate Assistantships (GAs) annually.​ We also offer a variety of other financial support options.

Resources & Admissions Help

We encourage international prospective students and applicants to contact the International Centre for questions relating to study permits and immigration. The International Centre provides international students with ongoing support and advice in all matters, including academic and personal concerns, immigration, on and off-campus employment regulations, cultural transition, housing, and financial issues.

If you are a prospective student, you can contact the International Centre by email at international@uleth.ca, or by phone at 403-329-2053.

If you are a current international student, please contact your International Student Advisors.

The International Centre is located in SU060.

All applicants, regardless of citizenship or country of origin, must satisfy the English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirement. Please see English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements for graduate students for information on meeting this requirement.

Housing On-Campus
The University of Lethbridge offers a wide range of housing options on campus, and by living on our campus, you are steps away from classes, faculty members' offices, student services, study rooms and the library, as well as social, exercise and recreational spaces. Housing Off-Campus
Most graduate students live off-campus. Lethbridge has numerous off-campus housing options available, ranging from full houses, apartments and townhouses to bedrooms in houses, basement suites and more. Visit ULethbridge off Campus Housing for listings in the city and surrounding area.

Admission Requirements

Applicants from other countries must present qualifications comparable to those of Canadian applicants. Please note the admission requirements for the country in which your undergraduate study was completed.
