Hilary Hulsey is the General Programs Coordinator at Destination Exploration, where she supports hands-on programs for children and youth. She is interested in creating learning experiences that feel engaging and approachable, helping students connect with new ideas in ways that are both meaningful and enjoyable.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Arts from the University of British Columbia. Prior to this role, she worked in media and storytelling, including as an adjunct professor at Amarillo College and as a content manager at Panhandle PBS. Her directorial work earned her a Lone Star Regional EMMY® in 2021 for Best Documentary–Topical for the series Living While Black.
In her leisure hours, she enjoys classic films, playing guitar, reminiscing, and spending time with her wife and their dog, Rhett.
