September 25 2026: Editorial revisions to: 

• Update repealed Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) references (section 3.3.4 and Appendix C) to Alberta’s Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) and Access to Information Act (ATIA) as required. 

• Remove references to rescinded Employment of Relatives (Rescinded by the Board of Governors on April 16, 2026). 

• Align Policy with the University approved templates.
