Elders-in-Residence January 2025 Schedule

Elders Francis First Charger, Cathy Hunt and Shirlee Crow Shoe provide cultural support, traditional teachings and guidance to any University of Lethbridge student, staff, or faculty from any culture.

Cathy Hunt & Shirlee Crow Shoe will be located in the Iikaisskini Gathering Centre in W650. Francis First Charger will be located in the Ceremony Room in A430.

Statement — Transgender Day of Remembrance 25th anniversary at ULethbridge

Transgender Day of Remembrance is recognized annually on November 20. This observance seeks to honour the memories of the transgender, non-binary, genderqueer, and otherwise gender-diverse people whose lives were lost due to acts of anti-transgender violence.
