TIPS FOR WORKING IN SUMMER AND EXTREME HEAT

Southern Alberta summers can produce periods of extreme heat and dry conditions, with the potential for severe thunderstorms. It is important to be aware of the weather in advance to properly mitigate the effects of extreme heat and plan for the potential severe weather.

Recognizing Pride Month at ULethbridge

CASH OFFICE - SUMMER HOURS JUNE to AUGUST 2025

The Cash Office will start summer hours on Monday, June 2, 2025.  Hours of operation will be:

Monday to Thursday — 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Friday — 10 a.m. to noon

Regular hours of Service (9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)

 will resume Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025

Annual Campus Fire Safety Inspections

Annual Campus Fire Safety Inspections

The City of Lethbridge Fire Department (LFD) in collaboration with Safety and Research Compliance Services will be conducting inspections of the University campus on May 28, 29, and 30. Under the Alberta Safety Codes Act, the Fire Department has the authority to complete an inspection of all areas of the University campus and address any safety concerns and infractions of the Alberta Fire Code. Some concerns cited by LFD previously include the following:

Community Information Session - South Campus Development

The University of Lethbridge Business Corporation (ULBC) is hosting Community Information Session on Tuesday, May. 27, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

ULBC is an entity independent of the University of Lethbridge that was established to lead land development projects and manage properties on land within the University of Lethbridge campus. Development projects will take place on land that is not necessary for the academic or research efforts of the University and will include a mix of residential and commercial spaces.
