Community Information Session - South Campus Development

The University of Lethbridge Business Corporation (ULBC) is hosting Community Information Session on Tuesday, May. 27, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

ULBC is an entity independent of the University of Lethbridge that was established to lead land development projects and manage properties on land within the University of Lethbridge campus. Development projects will take place on land that is not necessary for the academic or research efforts of the University and will include a mix of residential and commercial spaces.


Rattlesnake Awareness

ULethbridge is home to a rattlesnake hibernaculum (den) located on the east side of University Hall. Snakes can often be found sunning themselves on the UHall east patio or other areas around the university. Signage will be posted in these areas about rattlesnake activity.

Elders in Residence - April 2025 Schedule

Elders Francis First Charger, Cathy Hunt and Shirlee Crow Shoe provide cultural support, traditional teachings and guidance to any University of Lethbridge student, staff, or faculty from any culture.

Cathy Hunt & Shirlee Crow Shoe will be located in the Iikaisskini Gathering Centre in W650. Francis First Charger will be located in the Ceremony Room in A430.

*Wednesday, April 2 will include face painting and blessings in the Elders and Ceremony room (A430).*

Measles Information

University of Lethbridge Safety Services is advising the campus community to be aware of the increase in measles activity in Canada. Measles is highly contagious and can lead to serious health complications.

Symptoms include fever, red and watery eyes, cough, runny nose and a generalized rash. If you have symptoms, call Health Link at 811 for advice.

Measles is preventable with two doses of vaccine. Call 811 to check your eligibility for the vaccine.

Applications open for the Labuhn Family Indigenous Impact Prize

Applications are now open for the Labuhn Family Indigenous Impact Prize!

Open to all entering or continuing ULethbridge students in any program of study who have demonstrated commitment to improving the lives of Indigenous Peoples and communities in Canada. 

There are two x $2,000 awards available, with at least one award designated for a student of Indigenous ancestry.
