January opt-out is for newly enrolled students or students moving from part-time to full-time status. If you were a full-time student in September you are not elligible to opt out now.
All full-time students (three or more classes) are automatically registered in the ULSU Health and Dental benefits. If you have alternate insurance benefits you can opt-out of the ULSU coverage. There is an opt-out form available on the Bridge, under your student tab. You will need to provide proof of alternate insurance benefits.
The Winter term opt-out deadline is Jan. 24.
If you are staying on the benefits, there is a brochure and benefit card avaiable at the Students' Union office, SU180 or you can access all the benefit information at studentvip.ca/ulsu
