Special Collection Open House feat. Craft ’n’ Chill

Are you curious about the Library’s Special Collection? Would you like to view some of the rare things that are usually kept behind locked doors?

If so, drop in to the Archives and Special Collection Reading Room (L1172) on Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 2 – 4 p.m.

Indigenous Wellness Initiative - Blackfoot Cosmos

Oki,

Please join us for a Blackfoot Cosmos Painting Tutorial drop-in style with interdisciplinary artist and alumni Chataya Holy Singer hosted by the Indigenous Wellness Initiative.

Relax, paint and learn about the Blackfoot origin stories with Elder-in-Residence Shirlee Crow Shoe. This will be a guided painting tutorial with directions on how to paint the night sky with Blackfoot designs and symbols and their meaning in Blackfoot culture.
