Faculty of Education – Technical Support

Everyone needs a little help sometimes, especially when it comes to technology. That’s why we have a technology support team in place to offer you guidance, advice and assistance when you need it.

Our Team

Technology Support for the faculty of Education aim to ensure the technology needs, desktop support, and maintenance of the hardware, software and networking systems for the Faculty of Education as well as students involved in our program. We are a Macintosh exclusive faculty who provide up-to-date technology for ever evolving world of technology.

Services We Offer

The Faculty of Education directly supports the following activities:


1. Office computing as it relates to teaching, learning, and research

  • two full-time staff members are available to help you with day-to-day problems as they arise
  • we’re also available to assist you with software on a one-to-one or small group basis


2. Technology integration into the teaching and learning of our students

  • most teaching spaces in the Faculty of Education are equipped with large TVs for presentations
  • many teaching spaces feature webcams and high quality microphones for Zoom
  • portable presentation equipment is available to Education faculty and students


3. Off campus research, presentation and teaching materials

  • laptops for faculty members
  • projectors for faculty members

This equipment is available to faculty members who will be traveling to conferences to present or need to have access to their work while off campus.
