Together, we shape the future of education.
We see the passion in the eyes of our students, the dedication they bring to their studies and the desire to inspire a love of learning in others. We are committed to creating inclusive and equitable educational environment where every student can thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. We know that financial barriers can stand in the way of achieving this vision. That's why we're dedicated to building a supportive framework of opportunities that empowers our students — not only to learn but also to become the next generation of inspiring educators. With your help, we can achieve that!
Pave the way for future teachers
Dedicated University of Lethbridge alumni Dr. Toby (BEd ’89, MEd ’04, LLD ‘25) and Dr. Bernadine (Bernie)(BEd ’88, LLD ’25) Boulet understand the ripple effect a single act of generosity can create. Paving Roads to Success is a transformative campaign dedicated to supporting student teachers who take on rural practicum placements, which may present financial challenges. By donating, you’re empowering these aspiring teachers to bring quality education to underserved communities across Alberta — one placement at a time.
A legacy of education
The impact of great teachers often reaches far beyond the classroom. The Egbert and Isabella Wells Memorial Scholarship will support future teachers — a fitting tribute to parents whose four children each became educators. Their daughter, Jean Wells (BEd ’73), chose to honour her parents with a deeply meaningful gift to the University of Lethbridge, carrying forward a shared legacy of learning and her own lifelong commitment to education.

A Legacy of Gratitude
For more than 40 years, the Faculty of Education and countless students have benefitted from the generosity of the Wigham Family. Darol and Evelyn Wigham believed in the importance of giving back and showing gratitude for the doors opened by higher education. Shortly after their daughter, Patricia, completed her Bachelor of Education in 1981, Darol and Evelyn began what has turned into an incredible legacy at ULethbridge.
