Phyllis Weston English Scholarship
The Phyllis Weston Award was established in memory of Phyllis Weston who taught for 40 years in Calgary Public Schools. Her teaching had a lasting impact on many students.

Eligibility
- The applicant must:
- Be a Canadian student or permanent resident, and an Alberta resident
- Have attended their final year of high school in Calgary
- Be a full-time student registered at the University of Alberta, University of Calgary, or University of Lethbridge entering their final year of studies in an Education Degree Program with a specialization in English and planning to become a high school English teacher
- Have a good academic standing
- Provide one letter of reference.
