AgriFood Futures Scholarship

Purpose

• Established by the SouthGrow Regional Initiative in 2019, the AgriFood Futures Scholarship supports local youth pursuing education and career opportunities in the Agri-food industry in Southern Alberta.

Value

• $2,500

Deadline:

• October 30, 2026 at 4:00 pm 

Eligibility

• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person.
• Be a permanent resident of one of the 30 South Grow communities.
• Be enrolled in full time studies for the upcoming academic year at the University  of Lethbridge, Lethbridge College, or Red Crow College, in either an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Demonstrate a genuine intention to pursue a career in the Agri-food industry in Southern Alberta following graduation.
