Reduce student financial stress

We know there are students out there capable of great things who can’t afford a university education on their own. We want to give more students the momentum to succeed in the most direct way possible: by providing them with more scholarships and less debt upon graduation.

Improve career outcomes

Opportunities to enhance professional skills through hands-on experiences ensure better employment rates and long-term financial security. We want to ensure more students have the financial means necessary to take advantage of experiential learning opportunities so they’re better prepared to enter the work world.

Remove barriers

Social and financial barriers are wider and access to education is limited for Indigenous and racialized communities, people with disabilities and 2SLGBTQ+ students. Building and maintaining this diverse student body requires a strong, competitive financial aid program that meets the needs of every student.

Matching Opportunity: Double Your Impact

Acknowledging that increased financial support is critical in ensuring a university education remains an option for more students, the University of Lethbridge Board of Governors is pledging $10 million in match funds for any gift to endowed student awards.
By offering $10 million in match contributions, the University is aiming to build a significant base of support that will unlock opportunities for future generations of students. It will allow ULethbridge to further attract, retain and reward diverse and promising students now and for generations to come.
