Laura Chasmer

My research examines impacts of climate-mediated and anthropogenic disturbances on forest, peatland, and permafrost ecosystems and the resulting changes that occur due to these disturbances. To understand ecosystem response, my research integrates field measurements, micro- and hydro-meteorology, and remote sensing/geomatics technologies.
