AOTH is for students who have been offered and/or accepted admission to the University of Lethbridge for Fall 2022


What is Ahead of the Herd?

Ahead of the Herd (AOTH) is geared towards students who are starting their studies at uLethbridge in the fall. AOTH is an opportunity to meet faculty, staff, and current students who have experienced the same excitement and nervousness of starting a post-secondary journey. Students and their family can come to campus, meet other new students and family members, hear from ULethbridge staff and students about the great opportunities and resources on campus and have fun!



If you're traveling to Lethbridge to attend Ahead of the Herd, stay in on-campus Housing!

$200/weekend (Friday, June 3 check in, Sunday, June 5 check out) for a 4-bedroom Apartment (taxes included)
Check In prior to 8 p.m.
Continental Breakfast included both mornings (7 - 9 a.m.)
2 night minimum

ULethbridge alum, Richard Lee-Thai will speak to the importance of connection and how to create those meaningful connections
11:00 a.m. | Student Mentor panel (for students only) | PE250

Senior level student mentors will talk you through everything they with they would have known as first year students to help you have the best first year experience!

11:00 a.m. | Family Coffee and Conversation | SU Ballrooms A&B

Family members are invited to participate in a panel discussion about the fall term with Student Affairs leadership

12:00 p.m. | LUNCH |Markin Hall north patio

Lunch is on us!

1:00 p.m. | Campus connection activity |Kick off in the Quad

Students, it's time to see the campus, meet your classmates and have fun facing challenges, puzzles and games!

1:00 p.m. | Supporting your Student through the Transition to University | PE250

Families, you have a HUGE role in your student's success this fall. This panel is designed to help you understand what your student is experiencing and learn how to support them through it!
