About
At the University, Dr. Chris Mattatall is a teacher-educator, researcher and scholar. At home, he is a husband, parent and grandparent and servant of a three-year-old Bernadoodle named Winston. Being a Montreal Canadiens fan, terrible golfer and traveller make up the rest of who Chris is.
Teaching Interests
Educational Psychology, Science of Learning, Science of Reading, Exceptionalities.
Research Interests
Early acquisition and intervention of reading, Learning Sciences related to pedagogy, student cognition and reading acquisition, Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
Chris was named the University of Lethbridge’s Board of Governors Teaching Chair in 2023.
