Condolence Notice — Dr. Russell Leskiw

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Russell J. Leskiw (LLD '93), who passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the age of 86.

Leskiw had a long and successful career in education administration that included teaching in a one-room school, being the first acting president of the University of Lethbridge, and then its dean of education. He also worked in the United States and abroad in Jamaica and Guyana.

Condolence Notice — Inga Jesswein

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Inga Jesswein who passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the age of 64.

She was a longtime employee of the U of L and fulfilled several roles during her time here. Jesswein joined the University in 1975 as a counsellor, a position she filled off and on for about six years. She was also a sessional instructor in the Faculty of Education and her last position was as the Ethical Behaviour Officer, on a part-time basis, from 1992 to 1994.
