Condolence Notice — Mary Albiston

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mary Albiston, who passed away Tuesday, March 8, at 85 years of age.

Albiston was a longtime employee of the U of L, having started her employment as a secretary in the Library in 1974. She received a promotion less than a year later and then, in 1981, Albiston became a library clerk, a position she held until she retired in 1994.

Her colleague, Allan Gergel, supervisor, Library information systems, recalls Albiston as personable and very outgoing.
