Remember you must complete all components of the application - follow the Application Guide in the FAQs for details and hints.

  1. Complete all sections of the HYRS Student Application Form below.
    • You must have at least an 85% average in each of math 20-1 or 20-2, biology 20 and one other Grade 11 science.
      • Please submit your most recent grade reports - stamped by your school office.
      • Grade 12 courses will not be considered.
    • Have a parent or legal guardian endorse and submit their signature
  2. Arrange your TWO teacher references
    • 2 science teachers, OR 1science teacher and 1 math teacher
    • Please ask them to complete the Referee form located here.
    • You are responsible for checking that this is completed
  3. Arrange for ONE community reference (non-academic)
    • Must be an adult who is not a relative and who is outside of your high school.
    • Please ask them to complete the Referee form located here.
    • You are responsible for checking that this is completed
