Lyon French Immersion Summer Program

About the Program

Courses are oriented towards the development of oral and written expression and comprehension skills. The goal is to help students achieve independence in speaking French through understanding grammar, vocabulary and specific aspects of French culture. The courses are a great way to prepare for the DELF and DALF examinations. UCLy also offer a large number of cultural activities to explore France and apply what you are learning in the classroom to life in France!

Cost

Included in Program Fee

EUR 900/month (approx. CAD 1,350) for 2025 includes only UCLy's tuition.

Not Included in Program Fee

The program fee does not include U of L tuition for the course(s) transferred (approx. $900/course), travel between Canada and France, accommodations, and other living/personal expenses such as food.

Accommodation Pricing

  • Cost: EUR 460 - 560/month (approx. $700 - 850) for 2025 plus EUR 600 security deposit

Application Process

1. Attend an upcoming info session.
2. Apply to the summer exchange program on MyExperience under Campus Programs.
3. We will review applications after the February 1 deadline and contact you with steps to apply to the partner if you are accepted.
