The Tatsikiistamik Lounge

The Tatsikiistamik (Middle Bull) Lounge is a space for Indigenous students to gather, socialize or study

Narcisse Blood, Tatsikiistamik taught at Red Crow College and ULethbridge, and lectured at universities across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. As the Elder to the ULethbridge Iniskim Indigenous Alumni Chapter, Narcisse was highly respected throughout the ULethbridge community. In 2015, members of the Iniskim Chapter recommended the then Native American Students Association Lounge be renamed to recognize Narcisse's many incredible contributions to ULethbridge.

Location:
Department of Indigenous Studies
University Hall | Section A
Fourth floor | Room A424
(next to the Carolla (Napiakii) Calf Robe Elders and Ceremony Room)

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
