Gifts dated and postmarked on or before December 31 are eligible to receive a tax receipt for that calendar year.

All the funds provided for scholarships, bursaries and awards go directly to the student recipients.

If you are a U.S. donor, and you make a gift online, you will receive a Canadian tax receipt. University of Lethbridge alumni and family of alumni can use a Canadian tax receipt against income in the U.S.

When your scholarship or bursary is awarded, we will notify you of the name of the student recipient.

All year, we call donors and alumni to keep you informed on the impacts of your support around campus. Our callers are all University of Lethbridge students – many of them in their first few years of undergraduate studies. They are active in clubs on campus, volunteering in the community and, for most, this is their first real job.

When you receive your call from UofL students, please take a moment to chat, reminisce and find out first-hand how much your donation means to them and to everyone at the university.

If you wish to update your communication preferences, you can do that (link button).

Each year we will send you a pledge reminder in advance of your award due date to request funds from you. You can pay for your award with a cheque, or via credit card online or over the phone.

The University is located on traditional Blackfoot Confederacy territory. We honour the Blackfoot people and their traditional ways of knowing in caring for this land, as well as all Aboriginal peoples who have helped shape and continue to strengthen our University community.
