“My most recent work has explored the relationship of modernity to structures that buttress and frame a sense of the self. In 2009 I exhibited a series drawings paintings and sculptures at MKG127 in Toronto that charted the polarities of hippy culture, recovery and religion and questioned the role of the “the spiritual in art.” My most recent show “Display” at the same gallery followed similar lines.

Mobile (french): originating from the Latin mobilis, it means susceptible of being moved or moving, refers to that which incites or creates an impulse, as well as to the body in motion. The word relates to mobility, mobilize, signifying deep changes, pertaining to motif/motivation, motor, and to that which explains and justifies a judgement or decision.
