COVID-19 Update — Measures on Campus

As the Government of Alberta has eased the restrictions put in place for the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Lethbridge has created a plan for the easing of restrictions on our campus. The U of L’s Calgary campus, housed at Bow Valley College, will follow the college’s protocols and we will communicate those to our community members as soon as possible.

Condolence Notice — Bob McKay

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends and former colleagues of Bob McKay, who passed away on Thursday, Feb. 10 at the age of 78.

COVID-19 protocol update

On Tuesday afternoon, February 8, 2022, the Government of Alberta announced the end of its Restriction Exemptions Program (REP) as part of its overall plan to ease the COVID-19 health measures currently in place. Following this announcement, Advanced Education has provided additional guidance for post-secondary institutions.

As previously announced, the University of Lethbridge plans to reopen its campus to primarily in-person learning on Monday, February 28, 2022, depending on the resolution of the current faculty labour situation.
